This weekend we were in the Retiro park. On the main street, a cartoonist cursed under his breath as he portrayed a couple who had left him perched on his mobile. From the looks of it he was having trouble fixing the shape. We also saw the Charles Villeneuve exhibition at the Casa de Vacas
One of the works was a large-format watercolor of a view of Paris, still unfinished, presiding over one of the main walls of the exhibition. Showing those works to the public allows you to see many details of the process and that makes it special for me.
We were also at the Crystal Palace. At that time it was empty of exhibits and all the sunlight was reflected off the floor, projecting the structure of the walls and ceiling.
Bernardo Asins did a magnificent job and you can tell he was proud of him. The structure, despite the passage of time, remains delicate and familiar. My daughter planned her new home there.
Sometimes time and value advance together and sometimes they devour each other.
