Daniel Cuadrado (Spanish, b 1975) Parachute VIII, War (Parachute serie), 2022. Gouache and graphite on gessoed Xuan paper, 53 x 53 cm (20.9 x 20.9 in)

Parachute serie, 2021-2022

Currently Daniel Cuadrado works on four recurring themes in recent years. In them he seeks to show the tension between organic and inorganic forms, subjecting them to their own contradiction. This opposition is evident in the series of fossils, which he has worked on since his youth and which, together with the series of parachutes and submarines, reflect his trajectory.
